Wall Sculptures
Large-scale turned and carved wood works that bring the organic beauty of burl and grain to gallery and museum walls.
Each wall sculpture begins as a raw burl or slab, turned on the lathe and then carved, sandblasted, or burned to reveal the wood's inner character. Many incorporate alabaster, exotic woods, semi-precious stones, or metal. The pieces below represent a selection from Dennis's ongoing body of wall sculpture work.
